Cultural Activities

Cultural activities play a big part in the wider life of the College. Each year, following weeks of preparation, we hold a Performing Arts Festival in which every student performs as part of both a Form and a House group. In addition many also compete in other sections. The best performances then feature in a public “Pot Pourri” Concert.

In alternate years we stage a major production and enter Stage Challenge. We also actively encourage students to participate in other local cultural activities, such as the Kapa haka and the annual production put on by the West Otago Theatrical Society.

We actively encourage cultural/performance groups to visit the College as we believe that the opportunity to be involved in such performances is of real value to our students.
